Turning used notebooks into "Kitaabs"

Reusing educational materials like notebooks and pencils is essential to sustainability because it reduces resource consumption, minimizes waste, and promotes a more environmentally conscious and cost-effective approach to learning.

"During the summer vacation, I came across an organisation which was founded by Nethra Balaji and Tejas Jayaprakash. They are dedicated to refurbishing used notebooks into new 'Kitaabs' for students in need. Therefore, their organisation is named Kitaab. It is non-profit and it recycles the used papers and notebooks into new handmade books that can be donated to those who are in need. They use recycled materials to their most use whenever it is possible in the process of book making. I was intrigued by how it is handled and thoughtfully executed by highschool students. It is definitely motivating and inspiring for me and I hope to join their vision in the upcoming future."
